Embark on an extraordinary full-day safari adventure in Tsavo East National Park — one of Africa’s wildest frontiers. Departing from Voi, this whirlwind journey takes you deep into Kenya’s iconic red-dust plains, where elephants roam free, lions rule the land, and nature unfolds in its raw, untamed glory.

6:00 AM – :

Pick-up from Voi or Voi SGR Station

Your guide will meet you early in the morning from your hotel or the SGR station (depending on train arrival). After a short briefing, you’ll enter Tsavo East through Voi Gate — the adventure begins!

6:30 AM – :

Morning Game Drive

Enjoy the soft morning light and the cool air as you track some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. You may spot elephants, lions, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, gazelles, and diverse birdlife. Morning is the best time to see predators before they retreat into the shade.
Explore Aruba Dam, a key wildlife-watching hotspot where animals gather to drink, or climb Mudanda Rock, a natural viewpoint offering panoramic views and likely elephant sightings.

12:30 PM – :

Lunch Break

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park (packed lunch provided) or have lunch at a safari lodge (e.g., Voi Safari Lodge or Voi Wildlife Lodge, Man Eaters camp or Aruba Lodge Voi). Relax and soak in the views, possibly spotting wildlife from the lodge.

2:00 PM :

Afternoon Game Drive

Continue exploring the park, visiting other areas like the Kanderi Swamp and Galana River, which attract hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds. Capture final photos and enjoy the vast red-dust landscapes of Tsavo East.

4:00 – 4:30 PM :

Exit Park & Return to Voi

Begin your journey back to Voi town or SGR station in time for an evening train or overnight stay.
